Danny Chapman, Safety Director with Mason County Schools, would like to make our communities aware that the week of July 28th thru August 1st (2025) Mason County Schools, in partnership with Emergency Management and law enforcement, will be conducting training exercises in a variety of locations across the county to prepare for the upcoming school year. During this time, first responders will be observed at schools conducting training at different times throughout the week. Please do not be alarmed if you see these trainings happening. Mason County Schools Provide Meals To Students At No Cost
Mason County Schools is pleased to announce that the county will participate in the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) during the 2025-2026 school year providing meals at NO CHARGE for all students enrolled in all schools that participate in the National School Lunch Program or School Breakfast Program. CEP is made possible through the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) Special Assistance Certification and Reimbursement Community Eligibility Provision.
